Great place to go to walk around and and enjoy the scenery
I use to work here and it is a beautiful place for cook outs bring kids to play and go fishing and the bathrooms are clean.
There are pavilions and a public restroom located here at the dam. There are walking trails, a children's playground and swimming area all with a beautiful view of the dam and the Elk River. Its very clean and a fun place to take family. I've also heard its a great place for fishing locally. Once a year, near the end of summer, there is a guided tour of the dam. Its free and fun to take the family inside and learn about the creation of the dam. I would recommend it to anyone looking for cool, fun places to visit with the family.
